George Parker

George discovered his future career path after attending an Open Event at Riseholme College. He is now studying a T Level in Agriculture, Land Management, and Production (Crop and Plant Production).

He chose Riseholme College not only for its convenient location but also for its free bus service, making travel easier. Since enrolling, he has built strong friendships and enjoys the hands-on learning experience the course provides. The curriculum stood out to George because of its engaging units and excellent preparation for the workforce.

One of the aspects he loves most about studying at Riseholme is the access to state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, which allow for plenty of practical, real-world experience. He finds working on the Riseholme farm exciting, fun, and educational. Through the course, he has had the opportunity to drive tractors, plough fields, and put plant production techniques into practice.

With a background in farming, George’s passion for agriculture shines through. After completing his studies, he hopes to apply the skills he has gained to pursue a career as a tractor driver on a farm.
