Lily Greenwood

Lily is currently studying Health and Social Care, a subject she chose because of its broad scope and the diverse career opportunities it offers. Since starting the course, she has found the tutors to be approachable and supportive, making her learning experience even more enjoyable.

At first, Lily felt nervous about starting college, but she quickly made new friends and realized there was nothing to worry about. She has particularly enjoyed studying units on life stage development, healthy living, and promoting health and well-being, all of which she describes as interesting and engaging.

One of the highlights of the course for Lily is her upcoming placement at a learning provision supporting children. She is excited to put into practise her knowledge into this experience and sees it as a valuable step toward her future career.

Looking ahead, Lily hopes to pursue a rewarding career in adult care or working with children with additional needs. She also appreciates the enrichment activities offered by the college, including a recent trip to Yorkshire Wildlife Park, which was both a fun and rewarding experience.
