Lucas Crisp

Initially, Lucas pursued A Levels after completing his GCSEs, but soon realised they weren’t aligned with his career aspirations. He then discovered the T Level in Agriculture Land Management and Production (Crop and Plant Production) and was drawn to the specialism in crop and plant production.

Lucas has thoroughly enjoyed the course so far, finding it to be both engaging and rewarding. He has developed a diverse range of skills and gained significant hands-on experience, thanks to the course's balanced mix of practical and theoretical learning. The nearly equal split between the two allows him to apply his newfound knowledge directly on the Riseholme Farm.

Lucas also appreciates the support he receives from his dedicated tutors, who guide him both in the classroom and during farm activities. He has benefitted greatly from various enrichment trips that have enhanced his learning experience.

Looking ahead, Lucas is considering pursuing opportunities abroad, with aspirations of working as a tractor driver or farm manager.
