Our course is designed to give students opportunities and experiences to upskill them for their future chosen careers. One of Mary’s most exciting modules she has studies so far has been Development and Enterprise. Mary says, "It’s a great module to develop knowledge within business."

At our college, we pride ourselves on making learning accessible and adaptable. Our expert tutors, like Gillian, ensure that every student gets the support they need. Mary expresses, "My tutor Gillian really helps me by making the courses adaptable to me."

Our students also have amazing opportunities to explore the world beyond the classroom! Mary shares, "Some opportunities on the course have been a trip to Edinburgh, and a trip to South Africa, which I am going on soon! I will be volunteering at a nature reserve for two weeks."

We understand the importance of balancing studies with personal growth. With free parking and a free bus service, getting to campus is easy for Mary. Mary explains, "My course is four days a week, and on my day off, I spend time with my own horse, developing my animal knowledge."

Work placements are a key part of the experience on this course, helping Mary to gain industry experience. Mary says, "My placements have been at a vet hospital and at a farm vets, which have given me practical experience."

Mary has planned her next steps after this course and feels it has prepared her for her onward journey .
